Built from the ground up.
Structured cabling, fiber, racks, surveillance and integrated AV. Planning the pathways, installing the equipment, and making the connections.
I connect the physical and digital sides of technology. Networks, low-voltage infrastructure, and software—built to work together.
NAPA, CALIFORNIA / ON-SITE EXPERIENCE. END-TO-END THINKING.

CONNECTED EXPERTISE
My work doesn’t stop at the patch panel—or at the screen. I bring field experience and systems knowledge to the same table.
Structured cabling, fiber, racks, surveillance and integrated AV. Planning the pathways, installing the equipment, and making the connections.
Switching, wireless, identity and endpoints. Supporting the systems that staff and guests depend on in a busy hospitality environment.
Custom applications and workflow integrations, backed by hands-on development experience. Fewer manual steps, more useful tools.
FOLLOW THE SIGNAL
Select a layer to see where field work, systems administration and software meet.
Plan the pathway, pull and terminate Cat6 or fiber, test the connection and document the endpoint.
Provision the switchport, place the device on the right VLAN and verify PoE, DHCP and upstream connectivity.
Connect the endpoint to Active Directory, Microsoft 365 or the property platform it needs to support.
Improve the experience with automation, documentation or a purpose-built application that removes repetitive work.
A useful solution depends on every layer—not only the one visible to the user.
SELECTED WORK
Projects across hospitality infrastructure,
field installations, and operations.
FLAGSHIP CASE STUDY / THE GROVE
A music-system problem led to a broader infrastructure diagnosis: the meeting spaces were also missing dependable hardline network access.
Investigated the audio failure and the missing network connectivity instead of treating them as isolated symptoms.
Repaired the Grove music system and restored wired connectivity to the meeting spaces.
Helped begin the project to replace the Grove network infrastructure and support a more reliable long-term design.
RESULTS
Project summary based on completed work. Site-specific technical details are intentionally omitted.

PAVILION / NETWORK & AV
Completed the Pavilion network uplink and music-system project, bringing the physical connection and guest-facing technology together.
Network uplink and music-system implementation for a hospitality space.
Completed the infrastructure connection and music-system work required for the space.
The Pavilion network uplink and music-system project was completed.

LOW VOLTAGE / FIELD INSTALLATION
Planned and pulled new cabling during Fox Cellar renovations, alongside hands-on rack organization and infrastructure cleanup.
Renovated spaces needed physical connections in the right locations to support IT services.
Assisted with planning, drilling and pulling new wire. Separately dressed and secured wiring in Villagio electrical closets, removed unused equipment, and prepared the closets for painting.
New connectivity pathways for the renovated area and better-organized equipment spaces.
Factory-reset and audited cameras, replacing equipment where necessary in preparation for migration to a new NVR.
Assisted with the Social LAG connection for an ad hoc network, troubleshot and verified fiber connections, and configured and deployed new equipment for the All In group.
Connected the HR Monday onboarding board to a new IT onboarding system and automated the workflow. Created step-by-step tutorials for recurring IT processes to make support and handoffs more consistent.
Developing a mobile web application to replace a spreadsheet-based strength-training workbook, with weekly logs, prior-workout reference values, and workout completion tracking. An ongoing personal project informed by everyday use.
SOFTWARE & AUTOMATION
PERSONAL APPLICATION / ONGOING
A weekly spreadsheet worked at a desk. Between sets, I needed a tool that was easier to use on my phone.
Personal deployment · Actively being refined
BUSINESS WEBSITE
A React and Sass website presenting a produce supplier serving Napa Valley restaurants.
FULL-STACK PROJECT
A personal blog built with Python, Flask and SQL, bringing software development together with hands-on infrastructure experimentation.
WORKFLOW INTEGRATION
Connected the HR Monday board to the IT onboarding system and automated the handoff, supported by step-by-step process documentation.

THE PERSON BEHIND THE PATCH PANEL

I’m Branden—a systems administrator, developer, and lifelong builder based in Napa.
I support enterprise and guest-facing technology at Estate Yountville. My background spans field service, network infrastructure, security systems, and full-stack development, so I’m comfortable moving between the equipment room and the application layer.
Outside work, that curiosity follows me home: virtualization, local AI, Home Assistant, custom 3D printers, and vehicle projects. I enjoy understanding how things work—and finding a practical way to make them better.
